Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher certification
• Background in serving diverse learners in K-12 settings
• Demonstrated experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt instruction for both self-contained and resource classrooms
• Committed work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a consistently positive outlook

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction tailored to individual student needs, using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
• Develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements
• Manage classroom environments to foster inclusion, engagement, and growth
• Assess and document student progress, making instructional adjustments as needed
• Support students in achieving both academic and behavioral goals
