Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Proven experience working with students with diverse abilities, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instructional strategies based on students’ needs
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt lessons and curriculum to provide accessible learning opportunities
- Track students’ progress, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with general education teachers, support personnel, and families to promote student success
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment where all students can thrive
