Key Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teaching Certification required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach and support approximately 8 elementary students within a special education classroom, collaborating daily with 3 teaching assistants
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of student attendance and progress
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
