Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience with high school resource or adaptive settings preferred
• Knowledge of Standard Course of Study and/or Extended Content Standards
• Comfortable collaborating with teacher assistants, therapists, and nursing staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability

Role Opportunities:

High School Resource (Full Time or Part Time):

• Deliver mainly inclusion services, supporting students in general education settings, with some pull-out instruction
• Manage a caseload of roughly 30 students following the Standard Course of Study
• Create individualized education plans and monitor progress
• Collaborate with staff, families, and students to ensure each learner’s success

Adaptive Classroom (Full Time or Part Time):

• Serve 8-10 students, all with significant cognitive disabilities, some requiring medical support
• Implement Extended Content Standards and differentiated instruction
• Work closely with a team that includes teacher assistants, therapists, and nursing support
• Foster a nurturing, structured environment where every child can thrive

Both roles offer flexible scheduling options, with anything from 20 up to 37 hours per week based on your preference and availability.
