Special Education Teacher | Lincolnton, North Carolina

The position is designed to be flexible: if you’re open to working across two campuses, you’ll split your week between two welcoming schools just 2.5 miles apart. Prefer to remain at one location? That arrangement is also possible, tailored to your comfort and teaching style.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Experience working with elementary students in a resource, inclusion, or pull-out setting
• Comfortable delivering differentiated instruction to students with a range of abilities
• Strong communication skills with parents, instructional teams, and support staff
• Ability to adapt in a flexible environment and manage multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support 15-18 elementary students receiving special education services
• Deliver both inclusion and pull-out instruction across all academic subjects
• Develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and foster positive learning outcomes
• Collaborate with general educators, service providers, and families
