Position Details

• Location: Lincolnton, NC area (approximately 45 minutes from Charlotte)
• Multiple Openings Available
• 2 General Curriculum Special Education Teachers
• 1 Adaptive Curriculum Special Education Teacher
• Full-time, school-based positions
• Interviewing immediately

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Track student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and educational planning sessions
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to support student success
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Special Education teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to support diverse learning needs in a school setting
• Previous school-based experience preferred
