Special Education Teacher in Little Rock, AR

This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated Special Education Teachers eager to work with smaller caseloads and shape learning success for students with diverse needs. Both elementary (K–6) and middle school openings are available, running from August 5, 2026, to June 2, 2027. With school hours from 7:30 to 3:30, you’ll foster engaged learning and support individualized instruction across all core subjects or in English/Language Arts (ELA) and Math, depending on grade level.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active Special Education teaching licensure
• Proven classroom experience with students who have dyslexia
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum and learning strategies for diverse learners
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction to support students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with grade-level and special education team members
• Deliver standards-based lessons in core subjects (K–6) or in ELA/Math (middle school)
• Track and communicate student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Develop supportive relationships with students and their families
• Maintain IEP documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
