Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification/credentials
• Demonstrated proficiency in IEP development and implementation
• Previous experience in K–12 settings preferred
• Strong understanding of self-contained and resource classroom environments
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Ability to partner effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Growth mindset and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong work ethic

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students on IEPs
• Manage caseloads responsibly, ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff for holistic student support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and communications with families
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs in both self-contained and resource settings
• Foster a supportive classroom community that celebrates student strengths and progress
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
