Qualifications:

• Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher credentials required
• Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred
• Comfortable working in self-contained and/or resource settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to perform the full range of Special Education Teacher duties
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with students’ learning plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and support staff
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support diverse learning styles
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning sessions
• Foster a supportive, structured environment that nurtures each student's abilities
