Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Arkansas certification in Special Education (K-12)
• Experience working with K-12 students in one or more of the following environments: self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching
• Proficiency with the complete IEP process, including development, implementation, and documentation
• Ability to perform all general responsibilities required of a Special Education Teacher
• Strong work ethic, a commitment to ongoing professional growth, and a consistently positive outlook

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across a variety of classroom settings
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families for integrated student support
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with special education laws and district policies
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student achievement and growth
