Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as a Special Education Teacher working with preschoolers in the Denver area. This full-time, contract position focuses on providing individualized instruction and support to young learners with varying needs, in a dynamic and collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid Colorado teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education, with one of the following:
    • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth–8), Grades P3–2
    • Early Childhood Special Ed Specialist (birth–8), Grades P3–2
    • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth–5), Grade P3–K
    • Early Childhood Special Ed (3–8), Grades P3–2
  • Experience with early childhood special education, including standardized assessments, eligibility, and programming for literacy and math.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working with students, educators, and families.
  • Able to pass a background check and complete timely credentialing requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, direct instruction, and support across a caseload of up to 15 preschool-aged students.
  • Implement a range of services including in-class and pull-out interventions, tailored to student needs.
  • Plan lessons, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Engage with students Monday–Thursday; dedicate Fridays for planning and team collaboration.
  • Foster inclusive and positive learning environments that encourage social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Utilize standardized tools for eligibility and monitoring progress in key developmental areas.
