Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to serve as a dedicated SPED Case Manager for the upcoming school year at an innovative charter school near Littleton, CO. This full-time, on-site contract role begins in early August and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting students with diverse learning needs throughout the academic year.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with students, families, and educational teams, managing individualized education plans and supporting academic and social growth. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for inclusive education, and the flexibility to adapt instruction to meet each student’s unique needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) teaching certificate
  • Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher or SPED Case Manager
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to creating a nurturing, equitable, and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instructional support and differentiated strategies for students
  • Coordinate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and data conferences
  • Document and maintain accurate case records in line with school and state guidelines
