Special Education Teacher - Littleton, Colorado

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SpEd 0-8 license in Colorado preferred; applicants with SpEd K-12 or 5-21 licensure are also encouraged to apply if the primary requirement isn’t available.
• Experience working with students with a range of learning differences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and adapt teaching approaches as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 8-10 students.
• Serve as a dedicated learning specialist, delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) and participating in team meetings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Create engaging lesson plans that foster growth and development in each learner.
• Commit to a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, ensuring consistent, in-person support.
