Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Special Education teaching license
  • Experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with general education staff, families, and service providers

  • Effective communication with students, parents, and staff
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized instruction and support to K–12 students with varying abilities
  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting plans as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with parents or guardians about student goals and achievements
  • Promote a positive and engaging learning environment for every student
