Elementary Special Education Teacher in Livermore, CA

What we’re looking for:

• Valid California CTC Special Education credential (mild/moderate)
• Previous experience teaching or supporting special education in elementary settings (preferred)
• Strong ability to create individualized education plans and deliver targeted instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for helping each student reach their full potential

In this role, you will:

• Manage a resource classroom supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Employ adaptive teaching methods and accommodations tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and regularly assess student progress
• Partner with general education teachers and related services to deliver comprehensive support
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
