What we’re looking for:
- Valid California CTC Special Education credential (mild/moderate)
- Previous experience teaching or supporting special education in elementary settings (preferred)
- Strong ability to create individualized education plans and deliver targeted instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for helping each student reach their full potential
In this role, you will:
- Manage a resource classroom supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Employ adaptive teaching methods and accommodations tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and regularly assess student progress
- Partner with general education teachers and related services to deliver comprehensive support
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
