These contract positions begin in late August 2026 and run through June 2027, offering a full-time schedule and the chance to build meaningful connections with students, families, and fellow educators.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement required (please submit proof of certification with your application)
• Experience working within school settings, particularly supporting diverse learners in self-contained or inclusive classroom environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and accessible learning atmosphere for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of each student
• Adapt curriculum and instruction methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals, communicating updates with parents, staff, and support services
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Participate in professional development, school events, and IEP meetings as required
