- Designing and delivering instruction that is aligned with state standards and personalized goals for each student
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintaining compliance documentation
- Using evidence-based approaches for teaching and supporting student behavior, including PBIS and BIPs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, behavior specialists, and families
- Supervising paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom and fostering teamwork

- Promoting communication, self-regulation, social, and adaptive functioning skills
