Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification and licensure in Special Education
• Experience in at least one of the following: elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Adaptability to diverse learning needs and classroom situations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with varied abilities
• Develop, write, and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Employ differentiated instructional strategies to accommodate student learning styles
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and related service providers
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Engage in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student success
