Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Special Education Certificate
  • Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager, preferably with middle or high school students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in creating, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and student-centered teaching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads of special education students at either the middle or high school level
  • Develop and oversee implementation of Individualized Education Plans
  • Deliver direct instruction and support in academic and functional skills
  • Communicate progress to families and school staff, coordinating meetings and updates as needed
  • Document assessments, services, and compliance to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
