Special Education Teacher - Longmont, CO

This full-time opportunity runs from late August through early June, offering structured hours in a welcoming school environment. The role focuses on serving a mild to moderate caseload and partnering with dedicated teams committed to student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid CDE Special Education (SPED) licensure
• Experience teaching or supporting students with mild to moderate learning needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement differentiated instruction
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to elementary students receiving special education services
• Design and implement individualized lesson plans based on students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
• Contribute to a positive school culture and uphold professional ethics
