This full-time contract role begins in August 2026 and extends through May 2027, providing you the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team and a manageable classroom size of 10 students. Within this dynamic setting, you’ll collaborate daily with paraeducators, peer mentors, a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, as well as psychological and social work support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active CDE license (or in the process of obtaining—copies required with resume)
- At least one year of classroom teaching experience
- Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to a classroom of 10 students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with related service providers
- Partner with paraeducators, peer mentors, and other specialists to ensure student success
- Adapt and modify curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners
- Maintain effective communication with families, staff, and support teams
- Foster a positive, proactive classroom culture that values each student’s strengths
