Special Education Teacher in Longville, MN

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience or training in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Comfortable working with students in grades 6-8
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly update IEPs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for students with diverse abilities
• Provide direct support, both in self-contained and mainstream settings as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
