Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Active educator license (current and in good standing)
• Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to promoting a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Create a classroom environment that fosters respect, safety, and engagement for all students
