Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Familiarity with general responsibilities of Special Education Teachers
• Strong work ethic, commitment to continuous professional growth, and a proactive, positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and supports that address the unique needs of students with disabilities across K-12 caseloads
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive, welcoming classroom culture that encourages growth and independence
• Keep accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with all stakeholders
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service professionals to ensure student success
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings
