Openings include two Intervention Specialist roles:

• One position is in a self-contained 4th and 5th grade classroom for students with intellectual disabilities, supported by three dedicated aides and a nurse. This classroom environment provides a strong team-oriented culture and ample support, ensuring students receive personalized attention throughout the school day (7:40 AM–3:10 PM, 7.5-hour days).
• The other is for a 1st grade inclusion setting, where collaborative partnerships with general education teachers and related service providers help every learner thrive.

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities or in inclusion settings is highly valued
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
• Passion for differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching strategies

Responsibilities:

• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment for students with varied abilities
• Design, implement, and track progress using IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families
• Foster personal, social, and academic growth for each child
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to best support diverse learners
