Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong collaboration skills with staff and families
  • Effective behavior management and positive reinforcement strategies
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s abilities
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance
  • Partner with families to ensure alignment between school and home
