Special Education Teacher in Mabton, WA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Certification in Washington State
• Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Familiarity or experience with PK-5 special education programs

• Ability to implement individualized education plans and life skills curriculum
• Collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging special education instruction focused on life skills
• Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for student success
• Collect and report data on student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere
