We are seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity allows you to support students with hearing impairments by providing specialized instruction and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.


Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Develop and implement IEPs to meet individual student needs.

  • Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families.

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Support student communication and academic success.

Qualifications

  • Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification/licensure.

  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Assignment Details

  • Location: Madison, AL

  • Dates: August 6, 2026 – May 25, 2027

  • Schedule: Full-Time

  • Caseload: Approximately 50 students
