Apply NowWe are seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity allows you to support students with hearing impairments by providing specialized instruction and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop and implement IEPs to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Support student communication and academic success.
Qualifications
Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification/licensure.
Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Assignment Details
Location: Madison, AL
Dates: August 6, 2026 – May 25, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
