Special Education Teacher in Madison Heights, VA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support high school students in Madison Heights, VA. This contract position involves working full-time hours, from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, providing critical educational services and guidance to a dedicated caseload of approximately 16-18 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized instruction tailored to the specific needs and goals identified in each student's IEP.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, therapists, and family members, to support student progress.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports to meet state and school requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active or in-progress Virginia teaching license with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement is required.
