Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific)

• Effective classroom management skills and ability to adapt instruction
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Creative problem-solving skills and genuine passion for serving students with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and tailor lessons to accommodate each student’s unique learning goals
• Manage and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies supporting academic, behavioral, and social growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage with families and caregivers to ensure consistent support
