Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific)
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

- Effective classroom management skills and ability to adapt instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Creative problem-solving skills and genuine passion for serving students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and tailor lessons to accommodate each student’s unique learning goals
- Manage and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies supporting academic, behavioral, and social growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Engage with families and caregivers to ensure consistent support
