Special Education Teacher in Madras, OR

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification in Oregon
• In-depth understanding of IEP development, review, and compliance
• Experience managing caseloads of diverse learners
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee a caseload of 35 students, delivering remote special education services
• Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Schedule and prepare for IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document progress, ensuring all federal and state timelines are met
• Coordinate reevaluations and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and administrators to support each student’s unique learning needs
