Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for diverse learners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in addressing a range of learning needs
• Commitment to creating a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver instruction adapted to students’ individual needs, strengths, and IEP goals
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with families, administrators, and other professionals to ensure each child’s success
• Maintain accurate records for student development, progress, and compliance with state/federal regulations
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment that empowers all learners
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
