(2) Full-time Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teachers)

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialists to join our educational team! We have two opportunities available to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Position 1: 4th & 5th Grade Self-Contained Classroom
We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to lead a self-contained classroom serving students with intellectual disabilities in grades 4–5.

Classroom Details:

Grade levels: 4th and 5th grade
Setting: Self-contained classroom
Student population: Students with intellectual disabilities
Classroom support: 3 instructional aides and 1 nurse
Schedule: 7.5-hour workday
Hours: 7:40 AM – 3:10 PM

The Intervention Specialist will provide individualized instruction, support students' academic and functional development, collaborate with classroom support staff, and create a structured, positive learning environment.

Position 2: 1st Grade Inclusion
We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to provide special education support in a 1st grade inclusion classroom.

Classroom Details:

Grade level: 1st grade
Setting: General education inclusion classroom
The Intervention Specialist will support students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction, accommodations, modifications, and collaboration with the general education teacher and other support staff.
