Special Education Teacher - Manchester, GA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and instructional modifications
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt IEPs in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver engaging instruction using a variety of evidence-based teaching strategies
• Track student progress and adjust instructional plans as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the classroom setting
• Engage with parents and caregivers to communicate progress and strategies for success
