VocoVision connects passionate special education professionals with virtual teaching opportunities across the country. We're currently building our candidate pipeline for remote special education positions serving students in New Hampshire schools. This evergreen posting represents the type of roles that regularly become available in our network, allowing us to match qualified educators with districts seeking virtual support.

Position Overview

These virtual special education positions typically serve students across various grade levels, with caseloads ranging from 45-55 students. Teachers work approximately 35-37.5 hours per week, providing individualized instruction and support through our remote learning platform. You'll be delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring support in academic skills, social-emotional development, and adaptive functioning.

Core Responsibilities

As a remote special education teacher, you'll develop and implement individualized education programs tailored to each student's unique needs. Your role includes creating engaging virtual lesson plans, monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis, and maintaining detailed documentation of student achievement. You'll collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support for your students. Managing a virtual classroom environment requires strong organizational skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with students through digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold an active New Hampshire special education teaching license and a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. We require a minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting with special education students. Virtual teaching experience is valued but not required – we provide support for educators transitioning to online instruction. You'll need reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and proficiency with educational technology platforms and video conferencing tools.

Technical Requirements

Successful remote educators in our network are comfortable using learning management systems, digital assessment tools, and various assistive technology applications. You should be able to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently and adapt quickly to new software platforms as needed.
