Seeking an organized, detail-oriented special education case manager to coordinate services for students with disabilities in New Hampshire! This remote position is perfect for an experienced special educator who excels at managing compliance, facilitating IEP processes, and ensuring students receive appropriate supports.
The Position
Manage a caseload of 45-50 students spanning grades K-8, serving as their primary case manager and advocate. You'll work 37.5 hours per week overseeing all aspects of the special education process - from evaluations through IEP implementation and annual reviews. This role requires someone who can balance multiple deadlines, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and maintain meticulous documentation!
Essential Duties
Serve as primary point of contact for students, families, and school teams • Coordinate and schedule all IEP meetings, evaluations, and reevaluations • Develop comprehensive IEPs including present levels, goals, accommodations, and service minutes • Monitor IEP implementation and ensure services are delivered as written • Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns • Collaborate with related service providers, teachers, and administrators • Conduct or coordinate initial evaluations and reevaluations • Track timelines for evaluations, annual reviews, and reevaluations • Maintain accurate, up-to-date student files and documentation • Facilitate problem-solving meetings and address parent concerns • Provide consultation to teachers regarding accommodations and modifications • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications
You must hold a Master's degree and possess an active New Hampshire special education certification/license. A minimum of 2 years of school-based special education experience is required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential! Experience with case management, IEP development, and special education compliance is critical for success in this role.
