This rewarding contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and is full-time, offering 32.5–37.5 hours per week. Serving elementary-aged students, you’ll play a key role in fostering growth within a supportive educational environment near Manchester, NH.

Key Qualifications:

  • Dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education (required)
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children, preferably in early childhood special education
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with families, staff, and service providers
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage diverse learning and behavioral needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated special education teacher for an elementary caseload
  • Plan and provide individualized instruction based on student IEPs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to support students holistically
  • Monitor and document student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction as needed
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment that encourages student success and independence
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development
