Special Education Teacher | Manchester, New Hampshire

Position Details:

• Opportunity #1: Full-time Special Education Teacher, traveling between various preschools within the district. You will provide vital support services across all preschool sites and engage with early learners to foster growth and development.
• Opportunity #2: Special Education Teacher with flexible hours—this role may be either full-time or part-time based on district needs. You will travel between charter schools, primarily working with younger students, offering specialized instruction and interventions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience in early childhood or elementary special education settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Comfortable working in multiple school locations and adapting to varied environments
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-centered attitude
• Flexibility and resourcefulness in addressing a broad spectrum of student needs
• Reliable transportation for travel between school sites within the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with a diverse range of learning profiles
• Partner with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices and student success
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Provide consultation and support to families and school staff
