Special Education Teacher | Manchester, New Hampshire

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher, working with elementary students (K-4th) near Manchester, NH. This full-time assignment runs from August through November 2026, spanning 12 weeks and offering a chance to positively impact young learners within a supportive school community.

You’ll collaborate with a dedicated staff to support students’ unique educational needs and help create a nurturing and effective learning environment. The assignment is Monday through Friday, with 32–37.5 hours per week expected.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged children (K-4th grade)
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an elementary caseload of students with varying exceptional needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Adapt and differentiate instruction to ensure student engagement and progress
• Document student growth and communicate regularly with stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
