Embark on a rewarding contract position as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in both 2nd and 5th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Located close to Manchester, NH, this full-time opportunity offers a diverse and meaningful experience across two school settings. You’ll play a vital role in guiding approximately 15 students with special needs, splitting your time between both lower and upper elementary classrooms while collaborating with dedicated education professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience teaching and managing caseloads in elementary special education settings preferred
  • Strong skills in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator, with a passion for inclusive education
  • Reliable, organized, and flexible with the ability to work across more than one school location

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead instruction and provide specialized support for 2nd and 5th grade students identified for special education
  • Manage IEPs, including development, progress monitoring, and compliance
  • Foster a positive and adaptive classroom environment, addressing both academic and behavioral goals
  • Coordinate with general educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Serve as both instructor and case manager, providing documentation and updates as required

This contract runs from August 2026 through June 2027, following a Monday through Friday schedule with 32–37.5 hours each week.
