A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher licensed in Tennessee (TN 461 SPED) to support students in grades 6-8 within a self-contained CDC SPED classroom. This position spans the 25/26 school year and is based in Manchester, TN.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 10-15 students, delivering individualized education plans, and fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and social growth. The role requires collaboration with school staff and families to ensure student success, as well as maintaining proper documentation in accordance with state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active TN 461 Special Education license required
- Proven experience in self-contained special education settings
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse students with various disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered instruction and tailored interventions
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Located in Manchester, Tennessee
- Contract employment for the 25/26 academic year
