Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with a 460 or 145 endorsement (Middle School Intervention)
• Background in Special Education at the middle school level
• Experience delivering instruction in inclusive and resource room settings
• Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers and support staff
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload up to 20 students
• Commitment to developing individualized strategies that foster student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide academic and behavioral interventions in both inclusion and resource room settings
• Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and service providers to support each student’s development
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
