Special Education Teacher - Manchester, Tennessee

Step into a meaningful contract role as a Special Education Teacher serving a diverse group of students near Manchester, TN. This assignment runs from ASAP through May 26, 2027, and is designed for educators passionate about direct and indirect student support, rather than traditional case management. You'll collaborate with a team to deliver tailored instructional minutes to approximately 23 students, one of whom is learning Braille.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Educator License through TNCompass (Practitioner License or Professional License).
• At least one of the following mandatory TDOE Special Education endorsements: • Special Education Interventionist (K-8): Mild-to-moderate disabilities. • Special Education Interventionist (6-12): Mild-to-moderate secondary disabilities. • Special Education Comprehensive (K-12): Severe/multiple disabilities. • Special Education Early Childhood (Pre-K-3): Early intervention focus.
• Experience providing direct and indirect instructional support in special education.
• Familiarity with Braille or willingness to collaborate in supporting visually impaired students.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
