Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and evaluating IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that accommodate individual students’ needs and IEP goals
• Assess students’ academic, behavioral, and social progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure student integration and success
• Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and communication with parents/guardians
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student placements, supports, and future planning
• Foster a nurturing and respectful learning environment
