Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in resource/interrelated settings
- Demonstrated skill in managing IEP caseloads and compliance requirements
- Ability to deliver individualized and differentiated instruction aligned to student needs and learning goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with families, teachers, and support staff
- Detail-oriented mindset for progress monitoring and data-driven instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IEPs for your assigned caseload, ensuring timely compliance with all requirements
- Provide direct special education and resource instruction within K–5 classrooms
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote student success
- Maintain accurate data on student progress, document services, and complete all required reports
- Communicate proactively with parents/guardians around student goals, progress, and interventions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
