Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Previous experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in resource/interrelated settings
  • Demonstrated skill in managing IEP caseloads and compliance requirements
  • Ability to deliver individualized and differentiated instruction aligned to student needs and learning goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with families, teachers, and support staff
  • Detail-oriented mindset for progress monitoring and data-driven instruction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee IEPs for your assigned caseload, ensuring timely compliance with all requirements
  • Provide direct special education and resource instruction within K–5 classrooms
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate data on student progress, document services, and complete all required reports
  • Communicate proactively with parents/guardians around student goals, progress, and interventions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
