Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials
• Previous experience with IEP development and implementation
• Ability to confidently manage self-contained or resource classroom settings

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals for a diverse caseload (K-12)
• Execute all general and specific responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher, including assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and support professionals to ensure students’ full participation and progress
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all students
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers
• Adapt to both self-contained and resource settings as assigned
