Qualifications:
- Active Texas Educator License with required Special Education and Core/Generalist Endorsements
- Demonstrated ARD meeting experience; confident contributor in collaborative settings
- Familiarity with high school transition and graduation planning
- Ability to maintain professional appearance per policy (no visible tattoos, single hair color, conservative earrings, and professional attire)
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high school students
- Participate actively in ARD meetings, advocating for student needs and program enhancements
- Provide guidance on transitions, post-secondary planning, and oversee graduation requirements
- Communicate routinely with families, specialists, and fellow educators
- Support a community-oriented school culture that uplifts every learner
