Special Education Teacher - Manor, TX

What we’re seeking:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or pending reciprocity)
• Previous experience with K-12 students preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum and interventions to individual needs
• Collaborative spirit to work alongside general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility across various structured classroom settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Plan creative, hands-on lessons in academic and functional skills
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
• Monitor student progress, adjust strategies accordingly, and maintain records
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Provide guidance and advocacy for students and their families
