What we’re seeking:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with varying disabilities and educational levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Expertise in developing and adapting lesson plans to meet students’ individual educational needs and goals
• Proficiency in maintaining required documentation, progress reports, and IEPs
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering tailored instruction in accordance with IEP goals and district curriculum
• Assessing student progress and adjusting strategies to promote growth and success
• Collaborating with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families to facilitate optimal student outcomes
• Participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Promoting independence and confidence among all students
