Elementary Special Education Teacher in Manteca, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California CTC credential required
• Experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong background in elementary education
• Ability to manage and individualize instruction for a caseload of approximately 28 students
• Commitment to fostering student engagement, growth, and achievement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized education services in a resource classroom for elementary students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student development
