With two positions available across two local school sites, you’ll help shape a supportive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid California CTC Special Education credential (required)
- Experience working with elementary students—ideally in a resource or inclusive setting
- Familiarity with students whose needs range from mild to moderate disabilities
- A collaborative, positive approach with excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Organization and adaptability to manage a caseload of approximately 28 students
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction in academic and behavioral areas
- Write and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Work closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote inclusivity
- Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional learning and team collaboration
