Elementary Special Education Teacher | Manteca, California

With two positions available across two local school sites, you’ll help shape a supportive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid California CTC Special Education credential (required)
• Experience working with elementary students—ideally in a resource or inclusive setting
• Familiarity with students whose needs range from mild to moderate disabilities
• A collaborative, positive approach with excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of IEP documentation, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Organization and adaptability to manage a caseload of approximately 28 students
• Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction in academic and behavioral areas
• Write and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote inclusivity
• Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and team collaboration
