What You’ll Bring:
- A valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching Certification (please attach certification and resume for consideration)
- Proven experience supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with a resource or inclusion background
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
- Enthusiasm for innovative instruction and differentiated learning strategies that align with a STEM-focused curriculum
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive classroom community that supports diverse learning needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for elementary students with diverse learning needs within a resource setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and document growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and integrate accommodations
- Participate in school teams and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Engage students in mathematics, science, and engineering concepts using a project-based, hands-on approach
